Headed by publicist Shannon Barr, Shannon Barr Public Relations, Inc. was founded in Los Angeles in August of 2003. Shannon brings over eight years experience specifically within the field of entertainment and media public relations. Her experience has embraced both talent and corporate representation. Developing her skills at BWR Public Relations in Los Angeles, one of top publicity firms in entertainment, Shannon had the pleasure of working on both sides of the pr realm, tackling entertainment and corporate clientele. Some accounts worked on include The WWE, Walden Media, Endeavor Talent Agency, The Bernie Mac Show, Dark Angel, Providence, Malcolm in the Middle, Son of the Beach and Soul Food, she also worked on a select talent list that included, Montel Williams, Reginald Hudlin (director, Boomerang, Ladies Man, now President of B.E.T.), Aaron McGruder (cartoonist, The Boondocks) as well as Billy Blanks and Angela Nissel (author, The Broke Diaries).
